880 – SIMONSTOWN – 25:2:4 (25.1, 51.9) Hachured OD 100-200 N 8543, 7082
Ringfort – Circular area defined by earthen bank (diam. 59m) with outer fosse and counterscarp.  Entrance may be at E. Excavation during 1975 by E.P. Kelly recovered neolithic artifacts, a rectangular structure beneath the bank, a small circular hut site (diam. 5m) and evidence of smelting.  Post-medieval activity is represneted by hearths and pits (NMI file)   SMR 25:5
